Shopify stays the source of truth. Buffers hold back a set quantity or days of demand, stock math is atomic so concurrent sales never push you below zero, and a daily reconciliation self-repairs drift.

Sending a PO emails it to your supplier as a PDF. Receiving handles partial deliveries with GRNs. Finalizing computes true landed cost per unit and writes it back to Shopify as item cost, and lead times are learned from your own PO history.

Demand from every channel feeds one forecast per SKU, recomputed daily. Reorder points and safety stock are derived from demand and lead-time variability, ABC classification is automatic, and new SKUs read insufficient signal instead of a made-up number.

Amazon and eBay sales are detected in seconds and adjust Shopify first. Write-back typically reaches eBay in 1-3 seconds and Amazon within minutes, and a paused channel pushes zero stock so nothing sells.

Ventorify is set up new, right next to your store. The connect wizard links Shopify, then Amazon and eBay, and SKUs match automatically, with manual mapping for anything ambiguous.
Forecasting doesn't start from zero either: at install, Ventorify backfills 24 months of order history straight from your Shopify store, so day-one forecasts rest on real demand.
Then observation mode takes over. Ventorify watches your sales read-only and logs every adjustment it would have made, exportable, without writing anything anywhere. Go-live is a guided checklist you flip when the log has convinced you.
